MY STORY

British designer Marianne Fay established her early career in 2005.

Graduating from Kingston University London, with a first-class hon in Fashion and a distinctive collection of Women's clothing & accessories.

 

With a unique design aesthetic influenced by her love of vintage clothing, combined with her obsession of utilitarian workwear, she presented a contemporary interpretation of masculinity and femininity by creating thought-provoking silhouettes. As well as conscious cross-pollination between fragile and structured elements. Inspired by her time working with Lee McQueen. 

With an idiosyncratic perspective, which has earned her a seat a prestigious Fashion houses for the past two decades. Evolving into an internationally trained and talented designer of both men's and women's collections, as well as a business executive. Brands have included Alexander McQueen, Aquascutum, AllSaints and most recently Tommy Hilfiger. Her wealth of experience has given her the opportunity to design for high-fashion, iconically British heritage, and globally renowned lifestyle brands.  

Leading creative direction, design strategy and product creation. Marianne has the ability to enhance brand equity and cultural relevance through strategic design leadership, iconic brand moments and high-profile collaborations. Known for setting brands apart through championing a design-led ethos, bold creative risks and a deep commitment to craftsmanship and quality, whilst maintaining a cohesive design language across products and categories. 

Operating behind the scenes at Tommy Hilfiger, where the house founder is the go-to spokesperson, she has over the past decade made the Tommy Hilfiger brand look more distinctive over the years, raising its cool factor amidst a preppy renaissance and kept that narrative connected to pop culture, and the American legacy of the brand. 

This site is an archive of her career to date. A testament to her love and joy of fashion, design and creative direction.
